Dory graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Armstrong State University in 2002. She then went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Education from Troy State University in 2005, and a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Valdosta State University in 2008. Dory has worked in education for almost 22 years, with the last 15 years being in educational administration as an assistant principal and principal.

In 2018, Dory earned a Diploma in Marriage and Family Counseling from Light University, in conjunction with the American Association of Christian Counseling and James Dobson. She went on to receive a Master’s Diploma in 2023 in the same, followed by certification as a Board Certified Master Christian Life Coach from the Board of Christian Life Coaching. Dory has had the opportunity to work with children, parents, couples, and individuals through her career and her church. Her belief is that Satan is working hard to tear down the family unit as God created it, and she is passionate about leading families to healing through sound Biblical teachings coupled with successful, research-based strategies.
