Alex completed his Bachelor of Business Administration and Management at the University of Georgia. In 2001, he became a probation specialist at the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice. His focus on case management and alternative placements for troubled youth laid a compassionate foundation for his future work in mentoring and discipling the next generation.

Alex spent almost twenty years in Christian higher education, focusing on developing students and helping them realize their fullest potential. His impact reached beyond the classroom, encapsulating mentorship, marketing and recruitment, worship and creative arts, and comprehensive curriculum development. His commitment to investing in his own personal education has continued with a Master of Arts in Ministerial Leadership in 2018 and a Master of Divinity in 2023 from Southeastern University. In 2023, he became a Certified Global Clifton Strengths Coach, offering executive strengths-based coaching to organizations including Tampa, FL-based Smile Design Dentistry, University of South Carolina Career Center, county government groups, and Christian Renewal Church in Hilton Head, SC.
