Laura Pearson
Laura received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology with an emphasis in Christian Counseling from Liberty University. She then completed her graduate studies at Liberty University to receive a Master of Arts degree in professional counseling in 2013.
Laura has worked with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of emotional, mental, relational, and spiritual needs. She uses an eclectic, client-centered approach to tailor the counseling experience to the individual or family’s needs. Her most utilized therapeutic models include cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed approaches to treatment while integrating Biblical truth into the process. Laura is also an EMDRIA approved EMDR counselor in training. Her deep desire is to see people healed, restored, and walking in the freedom to be who God has called them to be.
Laura enjoys spending time with her three children, as well as other family and friends. She is actively involved in serving at her local church. Some of her favorite activities include traveling, amusement parks, concerts, shopping, reading, and watching college football.
