Associate Professional Clinical Counselor
Susan Hudson
Giving hope to the hopeless and seeing the broken made whole has been a lifetime passion for Susan. Knowing she had a call from God to pursue ministry as a lifetime vocation, Susan graduated from Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, Florida with a Bachelor’s in Church Ministries in 1994. For the last 25 years, she has served in the Golden Isles with her husband/pastor, David, at their local congregation. Life as a teacher, mentor, and a pastoral counselor has given her a deep empathy and listening ear for those who have experienced life’s deepest griefs and struggles. Her desire to help those who have experienced trauma in both secular and spiritual settings led her to pursue her Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Liberty University. She is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor at Centered for Life where she is thrilled to work with clients on their journey to finding freedom and living an abundant life. Susan is EMDR trained and certified and also provides marriage and couples counseling.
Susan’s greatest joy in life is spending time with her husband and best friend of 30 years, David. They love to talk, travel, and dream together. She considers her four children and their growing families to be her greatest investment in life. The sun, sand, worship music, and a good book are her personal therapy.
